We will be meeting at the beach at 10am, it is about a 10 minute walk from the car park and the toilets to the beach. Both car parks have paths that will take you down to the beach and the walk is about the same distance from both. There are toilets at the Visitor Centre car park, this is the car park at the very end of the road, after driving over the hump/sea deference. If you find this car park is full please return down the road to the North Car Park.

Equipment will be provided, but if you have your own litter pickers or gloves, please bring them along.

We will have flags at the meeting point on the beach. From the Visitor Centre follow the tarmacked path through the saltmarsh and turn left at the bottom of the stairs. From the North car park follow the path down to Mill Hill turn right through the sand dunes (go through the gate), when you reach the junction at the end follow the path to the left. Once down the stair we will be to your left.

Meeting point location - ///pints.tripling.agree

There is a fee for the car park of £2 for 2 hours or £5 for the day. The car park machine only takes coins.

We hope to see you all soon and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Also worth knowing…

What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks and a drink (in a reusable bottle, of course).

What to wear: If you're picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - like gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.

Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.

87 spaces remaining - join us on the beach whilst there’s still spaces!
